Roy joins a travelling show and soon learns that the saboteurs communicate with Maurice the Mental Marvel (Gerald Mohr), via a hidden receiver, during his mind reading act. But Maurice is on to Roy. Roy narrowly escapes when Maurice leaves him tied up in a warehouse he blows up. But Maurice then kills a man and blames Roy who ends up in jail.
