Watch The Proud and Damned Online

In The Proud and Damned, five American Civil War veterans, Sergeant Will Hansen (Chuck Connors), Ike (Aron Kincaid), Hank (Henry Capps), Billy (Peter Ford), and Jeb (Smokey Roberds), leave Texas to live in South America.

When they arrive they are confronted by soldiers who force them to meet General Martinez (Andres Marquis), the dictatorial leader of their new country. The General gives them a job which involves visiting the town of San Carlos and spying on rebel soldiers who are preparing a war against him. The general also warns them that there will be serious repercussions if they fail him.

On the way to San Carlos they meet a family of gypsies who are also travelling to the town. Upon arrival the gang meet the town Mayor, played by Cesar Romero (the Joker in the original Batman TV series), and they are quickly torn as to whether they should assist General Martinez, or help the residents of San Carlos fight for their independence. Things are made more complicated by the fact that Sgt. Hansen has fallen in love with Mila (Anita Quinn), daughter of Ramon (José Greco), a brutal man who is the head of the gypsy family.
