At one end is the Japanese plant manager, Oishi Kazihiro (Gedde Watanabe), and the sycophant, Saito (Sab Shimono), who is angling for his position. At the other, two disgruntled union members, Buster (George Wendt) and Willie (John Turturro), who struggle with the new demands of Japanese quality control.
