However, when he kills three gunfighters who are meant to be protecting the town, the locals realise he may be able to help them fend off a band of criminals, Stacey Bridges (Geoffrey Lewis) and the brothers Dan (Dan Vadis) and Cole Carlin (Anthony James), who have been terrorising Lago and who are threatening to take control of the town once they are released from prison. He agrees to help, but does so with his own secret agenda.
