While in New York, Bond traces a criminal known as Mr. Big who is actually Kananga in disguise. He also first meets Solitaire (Jane Seymour), a beautiful tarot card expert who has the ability to see future events. Bond travels to San Monique where he discovers that Kananga uses the island to produce heroin which he plans to distribute in New York free of charge which will bankrupt his competitors. When he has eradicated his competitors and increased the number of addicts he will start charging a high price for his much sought after product.
