When someone wearing a ghost mask tries to kill Sidney, her boyfriend, Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich), becomes the main suspect along with Sidney’s father (Lawrence Hecht). The town soon realise that a serial killer is on the loose after more people are murdered and it’s down to Sidney, local news reporter Gail Weathers (Courtney Cox), who reported on the killing of Sidney’s mother, and Deputy Sheriff Dwight ‘Dewey’ Riley (David Arquette) to investigate and try to figure out who the killer is and if they are working alone.
