They live in their cave with Eep (Emma Stone), their teenage daughter, Thunk (Clark Duke), their son, and Ugga’s feisty mother, Gran (Cloris Leachman). They gather food by day and huddle together at night. When Guy (Ryan Reynolds), a more evolved caveman, arrives on the scene, Grug is distrustful, though it soon becomes apparent that Guy is correct about the impending destruction of their world.
