Clémentine ‘Clem’ Patché is an 18-year-old woman who’s lover, Francois ‘Bebe’ Lopez (Alexandre Ogou), is imprisoned on false rape charges. A flashback covers their past as childhood sweethearts who eventually became lovers, while revealing Clim’s caring family: her father, Joel (Jean-Pierre Darroussin), mother, Marianne (Ariane Ascaride), and sister, Sophie (Véronique Balme). On the other hand, Bebe and his sister, Blondine (Aurore Mensah), were both adopted by an unsuitable white couple, Franck (Gerard Meylan) and Francine (Christine Bruecher). Eventually, Marianne has to travel to Sarajevo to search for the woman who claimed she was raped by Bebe.
